Brand strategy turns footage into a film worth watching.

Evolve Back Resortsluxury wildlife lodges across Karnataka's national parks.

Evolve Back came to us for a signature film for their Kabini lodge. A straightforward brief on the surface.

Research pushed it wider. The real job was capturing the lodge's relationship with the forest and the tribal communities around it. The first film, "Spirit of Kabini," set the narrative frame.

What followed — "Walking the Talk," "Ubuntu Local Heroes," and a series of signature films across their properties. Each built on the same brand language, so the collection tells one story across multiple locations.

Four films through one relationship. Each faster than the last, because the brand decisions only had to be made once.

Who we film for

Built for teams who treat video as a business lever

Four kinds of team we work with most often. If one sounds like you, say hi.

A

Marketing and brand leaders

  • Launching a campaign, brand refresh, or product story
  • Needs film that reinforces positioning across all channels
B

Corporate communications teams

  • Annual reports, investor updates, internal culture films
  • Needs a production partner who understands institutional tone
C

Founders and CXOs

  • Telling the company story for the first time, or retelling it at scale
  • Needs brand, film, and web to feel like one team's decision
D

Government and institutional bodies

  • Wildlife documentation, heritage films, public awareness campaigns
  • Needs a crew comfortable with remote locations and institutional protocols
Across these sectors
  • Hospitality & Tourism
  • Wildlife & Conservation
  • FinTech & Banking
  • Manufacturing & Industrial
  • SaaS & Technology
  • Government & Public Sector
  • Real Estate & Infrastructure
  • Healthcare & Pharma
  • Education & EdTech
  • FMCG & Consumer
  • Retail & E-commerce
  • Non-Profit & NGO

Who this works for, and who it does not

Honest self-qualification, before you spend time on a call that neither side wants to be on.

Good fit

The kind of engagement that plays to how we work

  • You have a brand film, corporate video, or product demo that needs to move a business metric.
  • You want the creative director who pitched you to actually direct the shoot.
  • You care about brand coherence across film, website, and product — not just the footage.
  • You're willing to invest in a proper brief and strategy phase before the camera rolls.
Not a fit

Briefs where another team will serve you better

  • You're looking for the lowest day-rate on a quick interview shoot with no creative input.
  • You want a crew that will shoot exactly what's in a PDF brief with no pushback.
  • Your main ask is 'just capture the event' and there's no narrative or brand question underneath.
  • You need a round-the-clock production house rather than a senior-led studio.

01

Brand Strategy Depth

Since 2011 · 15 years of brand + video craft

  • Every film starts from brand positioning, not a shot list
  • Script, pacing, and colour palette trace to brand decisions
  • In-house brand, naming, and verbal identity capability
  • 15 years of pattern recognition across industries
02

AI-Enabled Speed & Quality

Same craft, faster pre-production and post

  • AI-assisted scriptwriting and storyboarding
  • Faster rough-cut assembly and subtitle generation
  • Production logistics and scheduling optimisation
  • Humans own the camera, the edit, and the final call
03

End-to-End Coherence

Brand · Video · Product · Web — one studio

  • Brand, film, product, and web as one system
  • Single team, single source of truth
  • No handoff tax between disciplines
  • Your brand film and your website speak the same language

So what does AI actually do inside a live action project?

We name the tools, we name the steps, and we tell you exactly where the creative director takes back the wheel.

AI · The speed layer

What we use AI for

  • Script drafts and shot list generation with Claude — the writer edits and rewrites, not starts from scratch
  • Storyboard visualisation from script using image generation tools to align the client on the look before the shoot
  • Production scheduling and logistics optimisation for multi-city shoots
  • Automated subtitle generation, transcript tagging, and multi-format exports in post-production
  • Internal agents that compile review packages, organise footage logs, and generate social media cut lists
Human · The judgment layer

What a creative director still owns

  • The creative brief, the narrative arc, and which story we are actually telling
  • Camera direction, lighting design, and the call on what stays in the final cut
  • Talent direction, interview tone, and everything that shapes how people feel on camera
  • The room with stakeholders. We do not send agents to client meetings or to the shoot.
  • The decision to deliver, revise, or reshoot a scene

How we work together

Four phases, brief to delivery

Brief & Strategy, Pre-Production, Production, Post & Delivery. Most projects run 4 to 8 weeks. Every phase produces something your team can review and approve before we move forward.

01Brief & Strategy

Brand review, audience analysis, competitive landscape, and a written creative brief. We define what the film needs to say, who it's for, and how success is measured — before a camera leaves its case.

02Pre-Production

Scripting, storyboarding, location scouting, talent casting, and shot planning. AI assists with script drafts and schedule optimisation; creative leads make every final call.

03Production

Camera, lighting, sound, and direction on location. Whether it's a single-day interview shoot or a multi-day documentary, the crew works from the storyboard and adapts to what the moment gives us.

04Post & Delivery

Editing, colour grading, sound design, motion graphics, subtitles, and social cuts. You get the master file, platform-specific versions, and raw footage — all delivered in formats ready for YouTube, LinkedIn, and broadcast.

Meet the leads

The people who actually run the work

Small, senior-weighted teams are how we stay accountable. You'll meet these leads in week one, and they'll still be in the room at the final cut review.

Vivek Raghavan

CEO & Creative Lead

Drives brand vision and the creative frame every project starts from. Sets the bar for craft and storytelling across the studio.

Jithesh Lakshman

Head of Design

Leads the design team and owns visual coherence. Ensures the film's look and feel carry the brand language from frame one to the final cut.

Ralu Rajan Madathil

Sales & Client Partnerships

Runs client relationships and keeps what we produce aligned with what the business actually needs the film to do.

Jaseem Thayal Shareef

Marketing & Systems

Builds the workflows and AI tooling behind the studio. Makes sure senior creatives spend their time on storytelling, not logistics.

Design That Compounds

One system carrying brand, video, product, and web.

The real payoff from integrated design is boring to describe and hard to fake: the positioning decided in week one shows up in the onboarding in week eight and the launch film in week twelve, without anybody having to write a style memo. That consistency is why the brand gets sharper over time — each touchpoint makes the next one easier to build, because the thinking is already done.

Brand

Positioning, verbal identity, and the visual language every brand touchpoint stands on.

Brand films, product films, and corporate stories that set the narrative the rest of the experience is measured against.

Questions we get often

Live Action Video FAQs

A few of the questions marketing and communications leaders tend to ask us before a shoot.

What is live action video production?
Live action video production captures real people, real locations, and real events on camera. It covers everything from corporate films and brand documentaries to product demos, testimonial shoots, and event coverage. At WowMakers, live action sits inside a broader design and brand system, so your film speaks the same visual language as your website, your product, and your brand identity.
How much does live action video production cost in India?
Most of our live action projects fall between ₹1 lakh and ₹30 lakhs, depending on scope, locations, crew size, and post-production complexity. A single-location testimonial shoot sits at the lower end; a multi-city brand documentary with aerial footage and motion graphics sits at the upper end. We scope every project individually and share a line-item estimate before production begins.
How long does a corporate video take to produce?
Typical timeline is 4 to 8 weeks from brief to delivery. Pre-production (scripting, storyboarding, location scouting, talent) takes 1 to 2 weeks. The shoot itself is usually 1 to 3 days. Post-production — editing, color grading, sound design, motion graphics — takes 2 to 4 weeks. Rush timelines are possible for event coverage and time-sensitive launches.
Do you shoot across India, or only in Kerala?
We produce across India. Our studio is in Kochi, Kerala, but we regularly shoot in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and other metros. For outstation shoots, we handle location scouting, local crew coordination, permits, and production logistics end to end. Several of our portfolio pieces — Evolve Back in Karnataka, Periyar and Hamirpur wildlife films — were shot on location across multiple states.
What types of live action videos do you produce?
Six primary formats: corporate films (company profiles, culture videos, investor communications), brand films (narrative-driven brand storytelling), product demonstrations, testimonial and interview shoots, documentary and institutional films, and event coverage. Many projects combine formats — a brand film might include customer testimonials and product footage within the same production.
How does brand strategy influence video quality?
A video without brand strategy is a beautiful thing that sounds like nobody in particular. We start every engagement by understanding the brand's positioning, audience, and visual language. That means the tone of the script, the pace of the edit, the music, and the color palette all trace back to a single set of brand decisions. When the same team handles brand, video, and web, the result is coherent across every touchpoint.
What deliverables do we receive?
You own everything. The full master file, social media cuts (16:9, 9:16, 1:1), subtitled versions, raw footage archive, and a usage guide. All files are delivered in formats ready for YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and broadcast. If your project includes motion graphics or lower thirds, those source files are included too.
How is WowMakers different from other video production agencies?
Three things set us apart. First, brand strategy depth: we start with positioning, not just a shot list. Your film connects to a larger brand system. Second, AI-enabled workflows: AI handles scriptwriting assistance, rough-cut assembly, subtitle generation, and production logistics, so the creative team focuses on storytelling. Third, end-to-end coherence: we also do branding, UI/UX, and animation, so your video works with everything else your brand puts out.

For the record

What live action video production actually involves

Live action video production is the process of capturing real people, real locations, and real events on camera to tell a brand's story. It covers corporate films, brand documentaries, product demonstrations, testimonial shoots, institutional films, and event coverage. At WowMakers, live action sits inside a broader design and brand system. The film's visual language, pacing, and tone trace back to the same positioning that shapes the website, the product UI, and the brand identity. We've been producing live action for Indian and international clients since 2011, with shoots across Kerala, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra, and more.
