Top 30+ Instagram Channels to Learn UX/UI Design

Best instagram channels for ux design

Learning User Experience can never be time-bound.

The galore of information in its entirety can take one a long time to master.

It’s better to say that in the matter of learning UX, time is the villain.
Most of us are already engaged in other works and are heavily drawn to add UX design as one of their skills.

But UX, in its raw form, is difficult to comprehend and the information needs to be in a consumable format (a chunk of data will be the worst-case scenario).

An important thing to keep in mind is that, be open and aware of the sources that offer genuine UX tricks and methods.

To begin with, let’s explore Instagram as a learning tool.

The experts in UX design have done half the job for us as they have converted complex pieces of information into small posts and stories on their Instagram profiles.

The only thing that we need to do is to follow them, and save their posts if you think it is valuable.
Here I have curated the list of best Instagram channels that will help you to learn UX design on the go.

Take your own time. Dig through those Instagram posts and stories.

Start learning the principles of UX, put them into practice in your projects and in no time you too shall excel.

from @ihoms.design – 👥 USER INTERVIEWS have become a popular technique for getting user feedback, mainly because they are fast and easy. However, you should know beforehand what problem it is you think customers have, and think about how you'll either confirm or contradict that. . 1️⃣ Finding participants Be sure to talk primarily to people in your intended target market. There are a lot of paid platforms to find the right participants: respondent.io or userinterviews.com . 2️⃣ Location It's fine to meet customers somewhere convenient or have them come to your office. If you need to do this over a video call, that's not as good, but much better than not doing at all. . 3️⃣ Preparation Prepare a discussion guide with a list of questions and hypothesis. After that, schedule the session with the customer. I recommend using Calendly for time planning. . 4️⃣ Interview 1. Be sure, that everything is recording or you have a partner who is taking notes. 2. Work to keep things natural and informal, ask an open-ended question. 3. Don’t share your assumptions or hypothesis. 4. If a person is struggling to voice their thoughts, reach the root of the problem by asking five consecutive “why” questions. . 5️⃣ Review and share results Highlight key insights, quotes, thoughts from each session immediately after. Create a report with the results and share it with your team or stakeholders. . 🙌Thank you for attention! If you have any questions just ask me in comments or direct message. Follow @ihoms.design for more design tips and insights. . #ux #ui #uxresearch #userresearch #uidesign #uxdesign #uxdesigner #thisisuxdesignerworld #userexperience #researchmethods #userinterviews #uxbrainy #uxbucket #uxchoice #designthinking #uxprocess #usertesting

The Seven Simple Principles of Conversion Centred Design (CCD) and How to Use Them⠀ ⠀ Oli Gardner – the Creative Director of Unbounce (a landing page builder for marketers), is an advocate of CCD. He says that deploying CCD makes each page you create on a website a piece of “accountable content”. In that you can measure the impact, purpose and success of each page as that page plays a part in converting visitors into customers. Design is often about solving problems. Many of the problems that designers work on are user-oriented problems. ⠀ ⠀ However, there is another consideration when it comes to problem-solving; solving business-oriented problems – read more on the linktree link in bio. ⠀ ⠀ #design #designer #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #designers #webdesign #ui #designlife #designing #ux #webdesigner #uidesign #userexperience #userinterface #uiux #onlinelearning #interactiondesign #webdesigners #designstudent #userinterfacedesign #userexperiencedesign #designeducation⠀#uxdesigners #uxdesigning #uxresearch #onlinecourses #uxinspiration #uxuidesign #uxprocess

👇 8 tips to designing accordion navigations ⁣ ⁣ 🔥 Accordion navigations make it easy to contain a lot of items in a condensed space. More common across web applications, look left or right in your design tool and you’ll see how effective these are. ⁣ ⁣ 👇 Wrappers are typically 100vh with an overflow for items to be scrollable. ⁣ ⁣ 👉 Flexible wrappers make it easy for users to expand accordion navigation bars for readability and customisation. ⁣ ⁣ ⚡️ Set your state of chevron to collapsed or expanded. You decide the best approach and we use plus/minus in Memorisely! ⁣ ⁣ 🧶 Icons are used to visually depict the accordion list. Wrapped in 24px container these are a great way to serve all your users. ⁣ ⁣ 🎉 Be sure to set the stage of each element in your accordion. These include active/inactive/hover and we recommend an accent background color to depict the active item. ⁣ ⁣ 🙌 Thanks so much for your support and be sure to join the @memorisely community of designers who enjoy microlearning everyday!

“Let’s reduce the empty space a little so that we present the user with more content at once.” – The Client . Tips by @_ayushjangra_ . How many of you have heard this line from your clients. . Clients usually argue and push the tendency that we should condense the content by reducing the negative space with the idea that we are presenting the user with more valuable content at once. Showing more content in one view doesn’t necessarily accomplish that. That is the myth of “less scrolling”. By giving the UI elements more space, we, as designers, contribute to the emotional aspect of the user experience. We add more breathing space in the UI and relax the overall interaction of the user’s experience with the UI. . Spacing makes the UI breathe and the user feels more comfortable exploring it. . Did you guys had any such experience where you had to explain the importance of white space and convince the client to keep that negative space, let me know in the comments below! . . . . . #designtips #designmentor #designinspirations #dailydesign #graphicdesignui #ui__ux #uidesignpatterns #uxdaily #bookdesign #webdesigning #webdev #appdesigner

🤔 Is design school worth it? Formal design education is a debatable one… but with the technological-driven era that we are currently living in, design school is being beaten out by the passionate. What was relevant one day, isn't always the next in the design industry. As the industry changes, so should your behaviour towards design. Unfortunately, most design formal educators will not adapt their content to suit the practical design world. With more & more design employers not requiring degrees at their company because of the rapidly-changing industry: your degree won't put you as far ahead of the competition as you may think. The internet is a miracle. Everything you need to know to build your education foundation as a designer is out there for you, and more than likely FREE. No need to spend thousands of dollars when you can learn more practical information for free. There's a lot more to design than Photoshop. You're going to have to learn how to deal with clients, sell yourself, pitch your work, negotiate, understand data & read emails. Plus a lot more things that design school may not teach you. A good designer is someone who is experienced. Imagine having four years of design experience, compared to four years of design school education. Which is going to have more of an impact on a client/ employer? Experience & credibility trumps design education. 🛑 Remember, It's NOT a must. 🛑 Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of positives to design school. But, if you're proactive & understand the power of the internet: your only limit is your imagination. 👉 Q: Do you need design school? Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on this one! It's an interesting one… that's for sure! 🔥 #usepitchproof ❤️️ . . . . . #designtips #designthinking #agencylife #freelancelife #freelancertips #freelancedesign #brandlogo #freelancer #designjobs #designteam #creativeagency #designeducation #freelance #typography #sellingdesign #designvalue #valueofdesign #designbooks #frontrow2019 #branding #entrepreneur

Lately, I've been investing in myself an awful lot!⁣ ⁣ Let's be specific: myself, my skills and own personal development that I know will impact my business as well.⁣ ⁣ This is something I was scared to do in the past.⁣ ⁣ It's funny though, it was okay for me to spend money on physical products but if someone told me that in 2019 I'd be investing in a nutritionist, a personal trainer, a life coach, and expensive digital courses & programs I'd be surprised. ⁣ ⁣ Now, I'm not saying to spend what you don't have or get yourself in debt, but…⁣ ⁣ Don't be afraid of investing in yourself.⁣ ⁣ It doesn't need to be something super expensive, you can start with something small: Buy that personal development book from that author you've been following for ages. Upgrade your favorite tool to the premium option and save yourself some time. Get a relaxing day at the spa. Buy that starter course.⁣ ⁣ That step alone can make a huge difference in your mindset.⁣ ⁣
